Privacy Policy

Who we are

ThisProp LLC (“ThisProp”, “we”, “us”) provides a real estate investment workspace for managing properties, deals, and portfolios.

What we collect

  • Browser storage and identifiers, including cookies or local storage used for essential operation of the website and app, and to remember analytics-related choices—see “Cookies and optional analytics” below.
  • Account and identity data, such as your email address and authentication identifiers from Firebase Authentication (for example, a user ID and sign-in provider).
  • Workspace and collaboration data, such as workspace names, membership, and invite information.
  • Property and deal content you provide, such as addresses, parcel numbers, notes, underwriting inputs, and activity entries.
  • Files you upload for import (CSV/TSV/XLSX/PDF) and derived data created during parsing, preview, mapping, and commit.
  • Payment data related to subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe. We may store subscription-related references (such as Stripe customer or subscription IDs) and entitlement status.
  • Usage, diagnostics, and security data, such as logs and basic technical information needed to operate, debug, and secure the service.

Cookies and optional analytics

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies consistent with this policy:

  • Strictly necessary technologies that let the site and service function—for example, authentication, security, load balancing, session continuity, remembering certain display preferences, and storing your analytics choice in the browser. The short notice you may see on public pages matches this approach: optional analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use this site, and we load them only if you accept.
  • Optional analytics on public pages (for example, informational pages you can view without signing in): we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) only after you opt in through our on-site choices. Until you accept, we do not load GA4 on those pages. Where we use GA4’s consent features for this deployment, advertising-related consent signals remain off for that optional-analytics choice alone. Google’s privacy materials describe how GA4 operates and apply when GA4 runs.
  • Signed-in product: when you use the ThisProp workspace and application after sign-in, we may measure usage, diagnostics, and reliability—including through analytics tools such as GA4—as part of operating and improving the service, alongside the usage data described above. That experience is separate from the consent banner on informational pages you view before or without signing in.

You can revisit a prior choice for public-site optional analytics at any time using Cookie settings in the site footer (we store your selection locally in your browser under a ThisProp-specific analytics consent entry). Blocking or clearing storage may reset some preferences or sign you out where storage is needed for continuity.

How we use information

  • Provide and operate the website and app features (including imports, collaboration, and syncing).
  • Geocode property locations when you request it.
  • Send service emails (workspace invites and notifications you enable).
  • Process subscriptions, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
  • Maintain, debug, and improve performance and reliability.
  • Understand aggregate traffic and feature usage—including, on public pages, through optional GA4 analytics when you opt in.

How we share information

We share information with third-party service providers (“processors”) that help us run ThisProp. These providers process data on our behalf to provide infrastructure, authentication, payments, email, and related services.

  • Google Analytics: when enabled, Google may receive usage data tied to analytics on public pages after you opt in, and analytics data in connection with signed-in product use as described above. Google is also listed below as Firebase, Google Cloud, Maps Platform, Document AI (when used), and related infrastructure.
  • Google / Firebase / Google Cloud (hosting and infrastructure, Firebase Authentication, Firestore database, and Cloud Storage for uploads and archives).
  • Google Maps Platform (property map embeds and geocoding).
  • Stripe (payments and subscription management).
  • Resend (sending transactional emails and notification digests).
  • Google Document AI (optional) (if enabled, used for PDF table extraction and text alignment during import).

We may also share information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights and safety of ThisProp, our users, and others.

Uploads and Document AI

When you upload files for import, we process them to extract tabular data and create draft and/or committed property records. If you choose to store an uploaded file (or if the app is configured to store it), the file may be saved in Cloud Storage.

If Google Document AI is enabled for PDF imports, PDFs you upload may be sent to Document AI for analysis. When enabled, the service may also store a raw JSON representation of the Document AI response in Cloud Storage for troubleshooting and quality improvement of import parsing.

Retention

  • Import uploads may be retained for up to ~90 days (depending on configuration and lifecycle policies).
  • Document AI response archives may be retained to support import accuracy improvements and troubleshooting (retention may vary by configuration).
  • Core workspace data (properties, deals, notes, activity) is retained until you delete it or your account/workspace is closed, subject to legal, accounting, or security needs.

Your choices

  • Cookie and analytics preferences (public pages): use Cookie settings in the site footer to accept or decline optional analytics cookies, or to change your selection later.
  • Account and workspace access: you can update certain profile/workspace settings in the app.
  • Email preferences: you can enable/disable notification emails in Settings.
  • Deletion requests: contact support@thisprop.com to request account deletion or export. We may need to verify your identity.

U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, state laws may grant you privacy rights—for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)—with respect to personal information we collect. Those rights commonly include requesting access to categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold, requesting deletion or correction subject to exceptions, and, where applicable, opting out of “sale” or certain “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not sell your personal information for money. On public pages, we use optional third-party analytics (GA4) only if you opt in, which supports transparent, consent-aligned collection for that context. If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with similar laws and wish to exercise rights, email support@thisprop.com with enough detail for us to verify and process your request. You may designate an authorized agent where your state permits; we may need verification before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights, subject to permitted differences (for example, if a feature truly requires certain data).

This summary is not an exhaustive catalogue of every U.S. state law that may apply, and statutes and regulations evolve.

International visitors

ThisProp operates from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from those where you live. Where required—for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR—we rely on approved mechanisms for international transfers offered by our providers and agreements, describe processing in notices like this policy, honor applicable rights requests (including via support@thisprop.com), and, for purely optional analytics on public pages, obtain consent before loading GA4 as described above.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children

ThisProp is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above, and may provide additional notice in the app or on the site for material changes.
